New Trailer for Mia Goth's MAXXXINE - "Time to Pay For Your Sins"

A24 has released a new trailer for writer and director Ti West’s upcoming horror thriller MaXXXine. The next film in a horror trilogy that also includes the films X and Pearl. The film is billed as the final chapter of the story, and it’ss set in 1980s Hollywood.The trailer starts off with a faux trailer for the movie-within-a-movie with The Puritan II. Maxxine stars Mia Goth, as adult film star and aspiring actress Maxine Minx, who finally gets her big break. In the film, “As a mysterious killer stalks the starlets of Hollywood, a trail of blood threatens to reveal her sinister past.” The killer that is pursuing Maxxine is the Night Stalker.Goth previously talked about the film, saying: “It’s the biggest story of the three with the highest stakes and Maxine has gone through so much at this point.”She goes on to explain, “So when we find her in this new world, she’s just a force to be reckoned with and she goes through some pretty wild adventures.”She went on to say: "I see MaXXXine as a superhero movie – that’s how I read the script. Maxine, as a character, has come a long way. She’s a survivor, she’s gone through a lot. When we meet her again, in this new world that she’s in, she’s really fought for everything that she has, and she’s not about to give that up.”Goth continues: “She’s going to fight for what she has. She’s a badass. There’s a strength to her. And she’s a really proactive, determined, focused woman. She goes after what she wants, and she’s not really going to take no for an answer."The movie also comes with an impressive ensemble cast which includes Halsey, Elizabeth Debicki, Moses Sumney, Michelle Monaghan, Bobby Cannavale, Lily Collins, Giancarlo Esposito, and Kevin Bacon.If you liked X and Pearl, MaXXXine looks like it’ll deliver another film that you’ll enjoy!
